The Christian Faith in a nutshell

I am not a jw or a lds or a seventh adventist, I have to most of all the other christian denominations and found that except the above mention and a couple of others most agree on the basic tenents of their faith.

This is what the majority of Christians believe reworded by me to help you understand what it all means.

G-d did create us with a ability to make a choice. A choice to love Him or stay seperated from Him
G-d created adam and eve and made them ruler over the whole earth (they had the title to us and everything else on earth). But in order for them to keep this title they had to pass a test. A test to determine whether or not man would love and obey G-d.
Adam the first man failed the test. Eve did not bring sin and death because she was tricked by lucifer but adam was not tricked. He knew what the penalty would be if he bit into that apple but he loved his wife and wanted to be with her so he ate it.
The result was a change in all men and women to be unable to completely live a sinless (ie mistake free, charater defects, laps in moral charater whatever you want to call it).

This allowed a very beautiful but prideful and arrogant fallen angel to take possion of us and not God. When adam sinned he signed the title to earth and all in it to lucifer..

G-d loved us and could not bear to lose everyone to His fallen angel, but He himself had to follow His own rules. So He created a plan to save everyone who wanted to be saved by Him.

The plan was that G-d Himself would create a sinless son, one that would be fully human to pay the price for the title to earth and mankind back and fully G-d so that His son could live a sinless life because of His Father.

That Son was Jesus and I am sure that most all of you already know about the story of Him being born of mary, healing people and performing miracles and then laid His life down for us at the cross, went to hell for us (so yes G-d knows just what hell is like)
and then rose again from the dead and acended into Heaven.

Because Jesus paid that dear price and suffered for us anyone who wants to believe in Him, His Father and the Holy spirit which is sent to live in us at the moment of salvation, will not perish but have everlasting life.

Why is there pain and suffering? Because until Jesus comes back and takes possion of the earth and forces lucifer out we will still suffer because as far as lucifer is concerned he still acts as though he still owned it.

Does lucifer the only reason for pain and suffering? No because until we die if we are saved we still live on this old earth in our old bodies and still operate under the law of sin. Which means we still hurt each other, we still die and we still suffer.

So if you really want to know G-d and live a perfect sinless life after death or until Jesus comes back all you have to do is admit to G-d that you have screw up (sinned, failed, have charater defects etc), ask Jesus to live in your heart, be baptised if you weren't at birth, and try to live by the principles (lessons, suggestions etc) in the bible.

You can't earn your way into heaven because none of us are capable of living a sinless life from birth to death. There is not a sliding fee scale that G-d uses to check whether or not you can get in. G-d provided a way out and if we are stubborn and choose to live without Him then when we die we will live without Him forever, stuck in our own crap, paying for all the things we did to others because without being saved you are responsible for paying for your own sins. So yes you still have a choice. If you think that hell won't be that bad and you really hate the idea of a higher power helping you thru life then you can. I would not advise it but it is still your choice.

And that is the message in a nutshell and yes gays, lesbians, bi and transgender persons can be saved contray to the message that we are too vile and immoral to be saved.

Giving thanks when depressed.

As hard as it may seem the best medicine for depression is to praise God and thank Him for all the things He has given us.

During these last couple of weeks I was depressed, angry and hurt and yet I kept running into verses that said Give thanks to the Lord, rejoice in the Lord always, and in everything give thanks. Needless to say at the time I felt irritated at this, how can I possibly give thanks when everything is going wrong and I am losing so much. But the Lord never gave up, I would be directed to job and to the psalms.

Finally I gave in and started giving God thanks for everything, even though in my heart I did not feel it. But then I started finding good things to thank God about in my situation, so I thanked Him more and before you know it I found acceptance of my circumtances and found myself feeling much better and not so miserable and depressed.

So thru It I learned how to overcome deep depression with Gods guidance. It also helps to remember that the feeling will not last forever, even though it feels like it will. So try to rejoice and give thanks even if you are only mouthing it at first. Read Job and the psalms, and allow God to work in your life.

being open

If you have read thru my posts you will have noticed that I try to be open and honest about myself and how I am feeling. I do this because as the title suggests this is my walk with God. I am human and I make many mistakes. The reason why my website is called the least of His children is because I have brought shame to the Lord many times thru my drinking, using drugs, marrying 3 different times, and then finally being a lesbian which I have given up.

Because of my sins and the sins of others in my life I have had a very hard time in life. Here I am at 48 years old and feeling like I wasted so much of my life. Just about any type of suffering a woman can face I have gone thru. I have been beaten, raped, had my children abused by my ex husbands, used drugs, used alcohol, been depressed and atempted suicide, been abused as a child, lost a child (thru a forced abortion by my parents), gone hungry, thirsty, been homeless, had cancer, and now have many disablities as a result of my hard life. I have asked my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Saviour Jesus thru the Holy Spirit to forgive me and to forgive others who have hurt me and misused me and my children. And because I was a lesbian I also know in great detail what men go thru with women also.

There are not many problems that anyone has that I can't related to. But yet do I take pride in my hard life? NO! Because much of it was a result of not listening to the Lord. All of it is garbage, none of it matters. The only thing that really matters and did matter was that thru it all the bad and the few good times my Lord was with me and helped me. Even when I turned away from the narrow path He went looking for me. my God has been there every step of the way, and for that I thank HIM!!

So if you are suffering in anyway or feel guilt have hope! If God helped me then surely He will help you. Sometimes it will be right away, sometimes it will take years, sometime thru a miracle and sometimes thru the ordinary. HE will always give you want you need. Not what you want but what you need.

God answered my prayer and helped me.

I feel much better now about the whole thing. I realise now that I needed to leave the group. I hope that God shows them the way to go. A british member of another christian forum read all the letters I sent and the replies of the group moderator, plus the posts he made and this was his reply which was a Gift from God and I realise now that I was to be a witness to them and they rejected the message.
QUOTE
hi again,by the way im male not female as my gender sign indicates

ok now to this, ive read your messages and this is what i think

this is all a joke right??.i mean you making a litterate mistake in your phrase in a post,ie bright morning star........they ban you for a mistake by your wording??

those moderators are either draconian scribes of THE CHRISTS time or after your head for another reason

they dont know your a ex lesbian do they??......that youve just quit a relationship for god {which is awesome by the way}....if they do theres your reason, they were just waiting for you to trip up so they could ban you, seen it many times before

my advise is QUIT,there not true christians as theres no forgiveness or love within them, unfortunatly anybody can say they belong to the lord

lastly i apologise for the behaviour of my countrymen, were thankfuly not all like those on that forum.........*HUGS*

gave up

Well I gave up on the cyberchurch. I am feeling quite betrayed right now and it is so hard for me to even get up the ambition to pray for others on other forums. It has left a bitter taste in my mouth and makes me think that maybe I should not even get involved with christian forums. I have been keeping phyically active which is quite painful for me because I have arthritis and fibromyalgia. Why they claim is only like a flue like body ache I don't know cause my pain is sharp and unberable without medication. I feel defeated and quite alone. If it were not for my Heavenly Father I don't know what I would do. with all that is going on sometimes I feel sorrow to the point of death.

At least you all know why I call myself the least of His children

depressed

I hate this. I break up with my girlfriend for the Lord because I felt that being a lesbian was wrong and am grieving over the loss even though I felt like it was the right thing to do and I plan on being celebate. Then one minute I am highly repected member of this cyberchurch and the next day I am shut out because of a series of misunderstandings. It is not fair. I feel the same way I did when my father decided to teach me to swim by throwing me into the lake without any life preserver and with him standing at the shore watching and laughing.
Heavenly Father take away my shame and despair and please let the cyberchurch know that they have misjudged me.

A open letter to this same cyber church

Names have been omitted to protect the identity of the people involved.
I could have posted this under a false name but did not, so please hear me out,

please answer my emails as I strongly feel that I was misjudged by you and others.

My conscience is clear before my Heavenly Father the creator of Heaven and earth, who is unseen, and before Jesus Christ His ONLY BEGOTTEN son, 100% humand and 100% God who died for our sins, was buried and rose again from the dead and before the Holy Spirit who lives within me. After all that I have posted you actually believe that I could be the whatever groups you mentioned. In America we have no such cults as you described. We have a lot of them but none misuse the phrase bright morning star and all know that the son of the morning star is lucifer, the cherub who fell from his place in heaven because of his self pride over his beauty. Please don't assume that americans know what you are talking about because I have been in the church for quite a while and do not understand what spiritual excegists or whatever they are called.

Like I said I tried to remove the posts in my forum that were upsetting members of my flock after I saw your note about being careful with language.I was just trying to jolt some of them into actually being a member instead of a bystander. Should not you as a leader also be careful of how you misjudge others and not assume that a american will understand or even use such language? Is it love to assume the worst and force someone to try to defend themselves? I do not even understand why you are so worried about someone getting in, what are you afraid of?. Is not the Lord of hosts greater than he that is in the world? Where is your faith and dependence of HIM? I trust HIM to take care of me, and my unbelieving children. Shouldn't you trust Him to watch over the flock?

I realise that I must have upset unnamed and unnamed but I will not post a apology in a false name just to make things right because I do not believe in lying. I can't even post something stating that I meant son of the morning star. Come on God created the stars how could HE be its son? And my post concerning being overburden was NOT about you, I did not mention names as I felt that those who were really overworked would get the message. I am sorry that it bothered you but it really was not directed at you. I should have said something when I first saw your post but did not want to embarrass you in front of the other members.

But whatever you decide I have forgiven you and the others for what has happened and hold no grudges anymore. I have also asked My Heavenly Father creator of all that is seen and unseen, who created the stars and is not one of them to forgive you all as well.

I wish you all well,
love in Jesus Christ
amen

Mistakes happen

Well I got banned from my goup because instead of using son of the morning star, I said lord of the morning star. I could have sworn that I put son of the morning star which refers to satan and not the other phrase.I had also told my flock that they were not praying enough or posting enough. Which apparently upset two of the non posting members

Well I have depression and sometimes I type the wrong words when I am feeling depressed. But now I am feeling angery about the whole thing and confused.

The passage I referred to was Isaiah 14:12 there is another verse regarding satan and that is ezekiel 28:12-19

I posted a passage referring to distibuting workload found in moses. Apparently the group moderator thought that I was referring to him alone. Several members had complained about being overburdened and I was trying to be helpful and yet this man assumed it was only about him.

And people wonder why there are so many churches. Well I don't need this kind of heartache especially since I am still grieving the loss of a loved one.

Heavenly Father please forgive this man and the church for what they have done and help me to find someway to minister to others in ways that will not be misinterpreted. In Jesus name I pray amen.

cruel love

Cruel love did snare me,
from You oh Lord I disowned,
a love forsaken
a sin so low,
a wanton lusting went I there,
like a dear trapped by a bear,
so mean and used did she be,
a Love was taken away from me,
that Love did not give up,
out it went a looking for it's lost lament,
finally you found me, my truest was sent,
broken and wounded Your lost was spent,
one crushed little deer,
you breathed life back in me right here,
like the gentle Father you really are,
to me you brought from afar,
love, kindness and understanding so great,
that the thought of Your Love so makes me faint.
I did not deserve any of it but You loved me
better than did that witch she was to thee.
No longer will I go to roads that travels
that promises laughter and gay to those who saddles,
but instead it is a snare you dare not go,
for from them is hatered and lust so vile,
that true Love slinks away from the bile,

Submitting to God

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Hebrews 12:9 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!

sub·mit
1. To yield or surrender (oneself) to the will or authority of another.
2. To subject to a condition or process.

sub·mis·sion
1.
1. The act of submitting to the power of another:
2. The state of having submitted.
2. The state of being submissive or compliant; meekness.

These past 2 weeks had been a hard one for me. I had been used by God despite the fact that I been in a relationship that was displeasing to the Lord. As time went on I realised that I would have no peace about this until I fully submitted to God and ended the relationship. Ending it brought new feelings of loss and depression and I felt abandoned by God. But had I been abandoned? No as I was really mourning the loss of this relationship.

But now I have a freer realtionship with My Heavenly Father. I no more feel guilty about it. And now I can be used by God to do His will with no obsticles. I ""put off the sin which so easly entangles us.""

I had not intented to be a example of submission but yet I was made one by God. May you be able to submit your sins and burdens to Him as well.

Heavenly Father please give us as the ability to completely surrender to your will so that we can be mightly used by you to accomplish your will with nothing holding us back.

Suffering is good for you.

Perhaps you already know this but by putting it down I also retain the info better. I learned something from my devotion today. That was that suffering is good for us. How? well lets look at the verse:

Romans 5
Peace and Joy
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a]have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
3 Not only so, but we[c] also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

So we should Rejoice in our sufferings Because suffering produces perseverance and
perseverance produces character and character produces hope . So suffering while unpleasant
is actually working for our benefit. What a great God we have who can even use our problems to smooth out the flaws in us. So if you are having a lot of problems remember romans 5:1-5 and rejoice!!

under attack

Last night I was posting in the various forums I belong to praying and asking the Lord to guide me in my answers. later I checked them again and found people thanking me and I felt funny because although God used me to post these things it was still God speaking to them and not me. I asked God to keep me from thinking about what a great job I was doing and to remember that is was Him and not me that did the work.

Today I find myself under attack by other christians who either misunderstood me or who questioned my beliefs. I felt sad and wanted to get angry but forced myself to allow God to speak thru me.

It makes me wonder if somehow the two are related. Was it God showing me the error of my ways or was it the devil who was mad because I refused to become proud over what others had said?

I have to admit that having had a very rough life and a hard time of it that sometimes I feel impatient towards others who have it easier and softer than me and think if I can do it why can't they? But then I remember that we are not to compare ourselves to others but to ourselves and God. With that in mind I realise that I have no right to judge those that really are weaker than I because God only gives each of us what we can handle. and also that we are all members of the same body so just because I am a hand and not a eye I have no right to tell the eye that I do not need it. We all have special places in Gods heart and HE is the one who makes and shapes us and none of us have the right to say to the other pieces of pottery why has God made you so.

Ministering to yourself

Today I was feeling alone, and depressed about several things so I went to check on other Christian forums about prayer requests and as I prayed for each request and answered some of the needs a amazing thing happened. I found that thru these other peoples needs I was giving myself thru the Lord the answers I also needed to hear. Is that amazing or what?

son of the dawn

I read my devotions today and the passage for it was about satan and his goals. It makes me wonder if
perhaps some of the space race fever has to do with his ambitions. What does anyone else think?

Isaiah 14:12-15 (NIV)

12 How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!

13 You said in your heart,
"I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. [a]

14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High."

15 But you are brought down to the grave,
to the depths of the pit.

Is it already the time of the end?

I started witnessing on a new forum and the error is amazing. Why have Christians forsaken bible based truths for tradition?
I was amazed at the amount of ignorance and willfulness of those who profess to be Christians and yet can not understand the simplest of truths?
Are we already in the days of those who will not listen to sound doctrine but will find those who will say what they want to hear with their itching ears?
I never totally understood the term of others being blind to the truths of scripture until now.
wow. It scares me.

Dream interpretation

BE VERY Careful of doing dream intepretation. Unless you have a direct revealation from the Lord you are walking on dangerous grounds. Not all dreams are from the Lord or Satan some are just our own thoughts and fears.

IT says In the last days old men will dream not young men and women.

Jeremiah 29:8

8 Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have.

Zechariah 10:2

2 The idols speak deceit,
diviners see visions that lie;
they tell dreams that are false,
they give comfort in vain.
Therefore the people wander like sheep
oppressed for lack of a shepherd

Joel 2:28

The Day of the LORD

28 "And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.

Me a shepherd?

I have been apointed shepherd over a group of people at the cyber church run by a anglican prophet named Jim. I was very suprised when he asked me to do it. I felt that it was a honor to be chosen.

I think this cyber church will be a good thing for those who are shut aways, those who can not attend a church for whatever reason, a place of support for those who do go to church, a place of rest and scripture.

There is a link to it on the footer(at the bottom of the website) of this blog.

My pain today is not as great. It seems to be more noticable when I am understress.

A note to unbelivers: You may think that faith is a crutch but it is a good crutch. There is nothing wrong with having a crutch provided it is a healthy one. If you think you do not need Christ in your life then you are deceiving yourself. Many think religion is stifling and that you can't have any fun but any real christian can honestly tell you that life is so much more fuller, and more peaceful when are a beliver. Why not go talk to one today!

A note to belivers: Being a christian is more than attending church. It is a way of life and if you are not reading the bible, praying and practising the principles in it then you are still dead inside and not enjoying life and Jesus to the fullest. So dust off that bible, read it, think about it, find a way to apply its message to your life, go to church, pray and you will find yourself with blessings you never thought possible.

Part two

Now many generations later on this artificial world hosted on Gods computer, There is a woman and a man sim that is to be wed. God puts all of Himself into a special program that makes the woman pregant. All of His knowledge, all of his programming power is given to this special baby. After this baby is born and grows up He begins to do what His real Father wants him to do by fixing other sims health problems and spiritual problems. He gathers up some friends to help Him do His Fathers work. Many of the sims where He lives don't like his message and plot to kill Him. Jesus already knows this and confronts them about it but they still plot. Jesus also knows that He has to pay the price for adams sin which seperated all of the sims from God. He is scared and askes His Father if there is another way but there is not. The sims who hate Jesus come for Him and kill him on a cross. But God after 3 days makes Jesus alive again, which is not hard for Him because He made this world. Jesus shows His friends that He is alive and then tells them to go tell other sims to try to save them so that they can be saved too. Then God takes him from the world and downloads his whole person into a android.

Now these sims still have the right of free will and if they die before accepting Jesus's sacrifice for them then God has no choice but to condem them to permant death. God is not going to force any of them to love Him because they would not really love Him and want to be with Him if they had to do it.

Now this is in no way a real biblical version of what happened but a parody of what really happened so that you can better understand what God, His Son and the Holy Spirit did for us.

We love our pets and some of us even love certain PC games or video games alot too but would any of us ask our children to die for them? No! But yet God did. Imagine the Love He must have had for His creatures. Imagine how much love Jesus had that He willingly laid down His life for us even though He was scared. And then Gods Holy Spirit who hates sins comes to live inside of us and has to put up with all of our sins, and faults our whole life just so that He can guide us and help us understand what God says to us thru the Bible, church, devotions, even other ways also.

To say that you can't be Gods child because your sin is too great Is wrong. No sin is too great. The only sin that can't be forgiven is a lifetime of refusal to accept His free gift.

You say I don't have time. You'd better make time before it is too late. Once you die your chance is gone.

You say I can't because I am a Homosexual or a murderer or whatever. God hates sin, He does not hate the sinner. He knows all about our desires, sins, faults etc. He does not care because He sent His only Begotten Son for us.

Whatever reason you use to try to get out of accepting God's free gift and changing your life is so unimportant compared to the riches we will get in Heaven and The consequences we will suffer if we don't.

Coming to know Christ

Imagine if you will that God is the ultimate computer programmer and that He designed this artificial life game called the sims. He gave these sims the power to make their own choices and even gave them the ability to communicate with Him. They are intellegent creatures without any faults, but they are completely innocent. They do not know the difference between right and wrong. They are like the animals they are to rule over innocent.

Now God wants these creatures to love Him and be loyal to Him but in order for them to do this they need to be tested. He gives them one rule not to break. They can do anything else their hearts desire but they can't break this one rule. He tells them not to eat of the tree in the middle of their world. If they do then He gave this tree the power to create in them the knowledge of right and wrong.

Now another set of creatures that HE created before the sims are a type of robot that actually live in His plane of existence and He created these robots with intellegence and the knowledge of good and evil already so they are not innocent but they are pure. But like the sims they also have free will and emotions just like the sims do.

Now God tells them that they are like God also just like them but in a different way. He expects them to help Him take care of the sims just like a child would be expected to take care of a pet. One of them the first and most advanced robot of them all, he is like a android, thinks why should I take care of creatures that exist only on a computer. Are not we better then them? Why should we serve them?

What they do not realise is that by taking care of them, just like we take care of a pet that it actually makes them better than the sims. It makes them the sims masters. But they don't see it that way. so the greatest one talks to some of the others and convinces a third of His robots to follow him and try to destroy the sims and become more like God.

So the android called lucifer goes to the computer and chats, using the keyboard and a sim animal called a snake, to the female of the sims. He knows that the male sim was created first and is not easly tricked but the female sim who has not been around as long is easily tricked. So he talk her into eating one of the apples.

She eats one and brings one to the male sim called adam. Adam sees her and instantly knows that she has done wrong by eating the apple but he loves her and wants to be with her so he eats the apple too. Now they know the difference between good and evil. so they try to hide from their programmer God. Which is silly to do because He knows where everything is because He made it.

Now God had spent years making the sims and their world and because they are so advaced and so much like Him in certain ways that He loves them as though they were His children. He nows that they have sinned and is sad beyond belief. They have failed their test. He knew that they might do this because He gave them free will. He also knows that lucifer tricked the woman into eating the apple but that adam was not tricked, He knew adam ate it willingly because he loved eve. Adam knew that what he had done was wrong.

God does not want to destroy them and start over so He comes up with a plan. A way to save them so that they can eventually be transformed into androids like lucifer by using their minds and spirits. But the only way to save them is to have someone like them who knows good and evil already but is sinnless to take their punishment for them so that they can become His children in every since of the word. So He tells them about His plan but tells them that is will be several generations down the line so that they themselves will not see it happen but one of their decendents will.

Part one over part two coming up next.

pain

Sometimes on good days it is easy to forget that I am disabled on other days like the last couple of days it is hard to want to go on. I sometimes find myself wishing that Jesus would come back soon so that my suffering would finally be over. When I feel like this it helps me to remember this passage in the Bible,

Isaiah 40:27-31 (NIV)

27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
and complain, O Israel,
"My way is hidden from the LORD;
my cause is disregarded by my God"?

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

So little by little I carry on trying to carry the message to others that are still suffering without hope, without love and without companions.

God is out there and He loves all of us From the worst sinner alive, yes even murders to the least sinner out there. He does not care if you are gay, straight, black, white, brown, male, female or both, rich, poor, healthy, or sick. He loved all of us so much that He gave up His only begotten son for us.
Could you sacrife your child for someone else? I don't think I could but yet God did. And not only that the only man in history to truley know right from wrong and yet be completely sinless, to be completely human and yet completely divine willingly laid down His life for us. Surely there no greater love than this. Jesus was beaten so badly that when He returns no one will recognise his face as even being human so that everyone will know just by looking at Him what He endured for us.

So if Jesus did all this for us and then sent the Holy spirit to live inside of us to help us and guide us then some pain that will end when God sees fit to take me home or come back is bearable.

We are to put to death the deeds of the body well putting up with the pain and not giving into it as some would is my way of putting to death the deeds of the body.

Are we denying CPR to homosexuals?

News story
Cop Accused of Denying Gay Man CPR
A small-town police chief was accused in a federal lawsuit of stopping a would-be rescuer from performing CPR on a gay heart attack victim

My brothers and sisters in Christ. Can't you see that you are doing the same thing that the cop did? You are denying gays and lesbians the right to enter the Kingdom of God with your hate and bigiotry. They deserve the right to be given the chance to receive Gods CPR just like us.

Rethink your methods, how many are you really reaching with your hatered?
How much more you could reach using Love instead?.

In response to someone elses post

On another forum someone wrote in response to a post I made which is a duplicate of the post on homosexuality that I previously posted.Their post is below and following it are 3 posts I made in response.

You will notice that their post lists verses taken out of context. You can prove any viewpoint by taking verses out of context. The whole paragraph needs to be considered plus it needs to be judged by other scripture.

To me it is more important to try to win as many for Christ as possible while there is still time and I do not see how you can be a effective witness to gays and lesbians if you are spouting hatered and bigiotry. We are told to love others and to not repay evil for evil. By persecuting these persons we defeat the purpose of the Gospel and the great commission. Which is more important winning others to Christ or proving that we are right?

Is Homosexuality Sin?

Is it shown to be wrong in the Bible and by medical science?

Most assuredly YES!

Gen 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” [The word “wife” here (ish-shaw', naw-sheem') is found 780 times in the Old Testament, and when used in reference to a person(s) it always refers to either a women or a wife (singular or plural), but NEVER TO A MAN. Likewise the word for wife (goo-nay') in the New Testament (cf. Mat. 19:5). Neither is there any sanction anywhere in God's Word for any homosexual union of any type.]

Lev 18:22 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." [homosexual relations controvert the natural order established by God, and are morally perverse and anatomically (etc.) incorrect.]

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death: their blood shall be upon them.." [The severity of this sin, along with others, is seen in the penalty it requires. No nation has escaped Divine judgment for sanctioning it.]

Genesis 19:5 And they [the men of Sodom] called unto Lot and said unto him, "Where are the men who came into thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them." [the word "know" in this context is contextually demonstrated to mean sexually (see v.Cool, as it is in the reference below].

Judges 19:22 "Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about and beat at the door, and spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, 'Bring forth the man who came into thine house, that we may know him.' [They then sexually abused a women to death (V.25).

Jude 1:7 ".. even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, in like manner giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." [From the climatic sinful practice of Sodom comes the term "Sodomite" to describe those who practice sexual acts with "strange flesh,” as it is abnormal for men to have sexual relations with men rather than with women. Only the latter act is morally sanctioned in marriage.

1Kings 14:24 "And there were also sodomites in the land, and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel." [Sodomy is a fruit of idolatry.]

Romans 1:26, 27 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men, working that which is unseemly [shameful], and receiving in themselves [in their own bodies] that recompense for their error which was meet." [A full reading of this chapter reveals that the sin of men "leaving the natural use of the woman" to engage in sexual acts with each other is the last stage of a number of progressive steps of degeneration. God warns and history reveals that when a nation yields to such it's demise is not far behind. The only hope for redemption is to repent and surrender in faith to the Lord Jesus Christ, "who loved me and gave Himself for me" - Gal. 2:20]

1Corinthians 6:9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, ..”

1Tim. 1:10 .. the lawless and disobedient, ... them that defile themselves with mankind .. [male-copulator; laws are necessary against such]

Rev. 22:15 .. without [the Heaven city] are dogs [synonym for homosexuals], and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Medical studies reveal that the overwhelming majority of male homosexuals have sexual relations with a multiplicity of partners through the course of their lives (even if “married”) resulting in a greatly increased rate of disease and premature death (by up to 30 years).

Among other things, the unnatural sexual practices of homosexuals generally result in:

A much greater incidence of sexually transmitted diseases (STD's).

Greater incidence of infectious hepatitis which increases the risk of potentially fatal liver cancer.

Increased rates of many types of bowel diseases [the male is not designed for sex with men. as with women]

Substantially reduced life expectancy [1,000 times greater chance of dying from just AID's alone], and or dependence upon very costly drug “cocktails” to prolong life.

Much higher rates of death by suicide.

Even worse, an increasingly reprobate mind that will not/cannot yield to Christ.

God's laws are holy just and good (Rm. 7:12) and to our benefit when obeyed. We dishonor God and help no one by justifying sin (such as sodomy) which is demonstrably shown to be overall harmful physically, mentally, and spiritually. Only by admitting your sinfulness and guilt and turning instead to the Lord Jesus can you be saved from sin to follow Him!

In Gods eyes all sin is equal and fornication, adultery, incest, drunkenness, rage, bitterness, hatred, stealing etc all are equally punishable by death if we do not accept Jesus as our saviour. To put one sin above another and to not offer those who need Jesus the most The chance to come to know the Lord because of our blind hatred is wrong and most assuredly makes God my Heavenly Father, and Jesus my Lord and Saviour and The Holy spirit inside me and inside all who are truly Gods children, makes our Heavenly Father angry. Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well to go and sin no more (He did told tell her how to not sin any more) and we need to say go and sin no more (and not tell them how to sin no more) and then let God do the work of changing them not us.

Who are you to question Gods Holy word?! Are you somehow less sinful than the man down the street who is still suffering in his sinfulness? Are you righteous enough to cast the first stone? Where were you when God created the Heavens? Do you dare claim to be better than God? Is your righteous indignation somehow better because you chase away sinners who need God word and help!? Who appointed you Lord of all?!

I dare say that Love is what is needed to bring these people to Christ not self righteous pompous mouthing off. Get off your high horse and get down to where the people are. Become approachable, show love to all, be humble and realize that you do not deserve heaven any more than the homosexual sitting beside you.

You risk becoming like the pharisees so watch out and repent so that God may forgive your sin and show you a better way!!

I leave you with some verses to ponder since you choose to judge me and others.

Matthew 7

Judging Others

1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

New International Version
Romans 2

God's Righteous Judgment

1You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? 4Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?

5But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6God "will give to each person according to what he has done."[a] 7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11For God does not show favoritism.

12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) 16This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
The Jews and the Law

17Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God; 18if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; 19if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, 20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? 22You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? 24As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."[b]

25Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised. 26If those who are not circumcised keep the law's requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised? 27The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the[c] written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.

28A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.

New International Version
Romans 12

Living Sacrifices

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

3For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. 4Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his[b]faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
Love

9Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[c] Do not be conceited.

17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"[d]says the Lord. 20On the contrary:
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."[e] 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

And this is the way I live my live to reach others:

New International Version
1 Corinthians 9

19Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

Homosexuality

In another forum the issue of homosexuality came up. This was my answer and feel free to disagree with me.

My Father who lives in Heaven, My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit who live in me does not share the same blind hatered that many have of those who are different.

one person mentioned a couple of verses that have clearly been taken out of context. you mentioned Galatians 5:19-21 and Corinthians 6:9-10. In both examples paul is talking about the differents of the sinful nature vs the spiritual nature. He calls upon us to put to death all of the deeds of the body not just a select few. Now if homosexuals were first on his list of people not getting into heaven then why does it say

John 3:16-18 (NIV)

16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[c] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.[d]

In these verses it clearly states that all who believe shall be saved not just the ones who were good enough or who some how managed to stay sexually pure.

In Galatians it lists sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. So in Gods eyes rage, envy drunkeness along with sexual immorality is just as bad as homosexuality.

In 1 Corinthians 6 it states :

9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Again drunks, slanderers or swindler are listed along with homosexual offenders. And it also goes on to state that some of them were like that but that they were justified and sanctified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you see a pattern here as I surely do. God hates all sin, all of the deeds of the human nature the same.

To single out one sin and put it above the rest creates a situation where Gays and Lesbians feel singled out by us and creates a situation where they feel hatered from us and therefore are not going to listen to any one because of it.

Do you want their blood on your hands because of your blind hatered? I don't. You can't reach people who you hate and we are told to love all equally.

Concerning the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah Their sin was so much more than homosexuality as indicated in Romans 1:21-25 and Jeremiah 23:13-14. They neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, They prophesied by Baal and led Israel astray and they committed adultery and lived a lie and They strengthen the hands of evildoers,so that no one turns from his wickedness.

Would Jesus approve of all of your actions and hatered of these people? If Jesus was around us today who would He be having supper with? Read the verses below and reconsider the errors of your ways.

Job 38:2

"Who is this that darkens my counsel
with words without knowledge?

John 8 (NIV)

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.
3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
4 and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"
6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 t this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11 "No one, sir," she said.
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

and again

Mark 2 (NIV)

15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him.
16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the "sinners" and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: "Why does he eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"
17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

Refrences to original verses:

Galatians 5:15-30 (NIV)

15 If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other

Life by the Spirit

16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

1 Corinthians 6 (NIV)

Lawsuits Among Believers

1 If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints?
2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?
3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church![a]
5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?
6 But instead, one brother goes to law against another—and this in front of unbelievers!
7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?
8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers.

Sexual Immorality

12 "Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything.
13 "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."
17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Romans 1:10-26 (NIV)

God's Wrath Against Mankind

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this
, God gave them over to shameful lusts.Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.

Jeremiah 23:13-15 (NIV)

13 "Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing:
They prophesied by Baal
and led my people Israel astray.

14 And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible:
They commit adultery and live a lie.
They strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his wickedness.

They are all like Sodom to me;
the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah."
15 Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty says concerning the prophets:
"I will make them eat bitter food
and drink poisoned water,
because from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has spread throughout the land."

May God bless you and keep you always.

How I became a christain

I remember back when I first became a Christian. I was in a group home for abused and neglected children and it was run by a independent bible based church and the people that were in charge of it were born again Christians. I was angry and will full back then.

We had to go to church and at the time I hated it and resisted any attempt to turn me back to the Lord. One particular Sunday the pastors words seemed to bore into my soul. I did not want to listen so I put my hands over my hears. As hard as I tried the words he spoke seemed to become louder the harder I tried to shut them out. I left that church that day wondering about what he had said.

I had grown up in Lutheran churches and at my last church during confirmation I had asked the pastor there many questions about the bible and he could not answer them. Remembering that time I asked the house parents about Jesus Christ. I fired any type of question I could at him and he answered every single one. Finally I asked what I needed to do to be saved. He told me that I need to be sorry for all the things I had done wrong in my life and ask God to forgive me and then I needed to ask Jesus to come live into my life.

That night at bedtime I did just that. as soon as I had finished praying I felt as though a huge rock had been lifted off of my back. The next morning I went to tell them about what happened and the house father turned to me and said I already know you asked Jesus to come live with you. I said how do you know that? He said by my face I seemed to shine.

Tired

Well I am still struggling with this illness. It strikes me that just as I have to struggle with being sick and forcing myself to do what I need to do just to keep healthy (like cooking, washing dishes to eat on etc.) so do we have to keep on struggling with our sins, our doubts, our trials, the world and our enemy satan. So no matter what, we need to continue to run the race set before us.

1 Corinthians 9:23-25 (NIV)

23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever

Galatians 5:6-8 (NIV)

6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

7You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? 8That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.

Hebrews 12 (NIV)

God Disciplines His Sons
1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

The Trinity

I think that the sun, the moon and the stars and perfect examples of the triune nature of God. God the Father would be the sun, Jesus would be the moon, a perfect reflection of God the Father made flesh, where the Holy Spirit would be all the stars in the sky, each with the same basic nature of God but living in all of us.

Romans 1:19-21

New International Version

19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Blessed assurance

Every time I hear the words of doubt creep into my mind and I find myself panicking over whether or not I am indeed one of God's children a verse is brought to my attention which reasures me that Nothing can take me away from God.

BLESSED ASSURANCE
by Fanny J. Crosby, 1820-1915

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Saviour am happy and blest;
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Saviour all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Saviour all the day long.

Amen.

John 10:25-39 (New International Version)

25 Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me,
26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and the Father are one."
31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him,
32 but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from theFather. For which of these do you stone me?"
33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'[b]?
35 If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken—
36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'?
37 Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does.
38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."
39 Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.

sometimes God says wait

Well I am still struggling with being sick. It turns out that I have a sinus infection. I have gone to the doctor, asked for healing and prayers but still I am sick so I can only assume that I need to learn to wait on Gods answer.

Sometimes I do get impatient with my Heavenly Father and expect a instant answer and many times I do get a instant answer but sometimes He says no or wait. So this week I will learn to wait. After ""all things work to the good of those who love Him"".

Well I had a strange experience at my doctors office. I am as some of you know disabled. I met a lady that I used to know a couple years back and she asked how I was doing and how she felt sorry for me etc. I told her not to because there are so many other people worse off than me. I realised that I had actually grown some from feeling sorry for myself to not really thinking about it.

Actually no matter how disabled you are there are people who are way worse than you if you are a born again christian because nonbelieves will spend a eternity suffering for their mistakes while we who believe will get off scott free from suffering from our mistakes thru The sacrife the God the Father had to do by making His only begotten son die for our sins on the cross. Jesus was willing to do this for His Father only if there was no other way out. He willingly gave up His life for us to take the punishment for our sins. The punishment phyical and spiritual death. His body died but for one brief moment He suffered spiritual Death when His Father turn away from his son. Spiritual death is seperation from God for eternity.

Since Jesus died for our sins and took our penality for our sins we do not have to suffer and be seperated from God if we accept the Holy spirit's small voice beckoning us to confess our sins, ask Jesus to be our saviour and ask Him to come live with us in our heart and then confess to someone that you believe.

Since it is a free gift you only have to ask for it. But beware those who ignore the Holy Spirits call all lifetime long and die without asking for the Free gift of life, will not be forgiven and will have to pay for their sins (crimes, misdeeds, wrongs, mistakes, defects of charater) in full all by themselves alone for eternity

still need some polishing

If nothing else this week has taught me that I definitly need some polishing done on my Godly shine. I feel that I have made so many mistakes lately. Thanks be to My Heavenly Father, My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit that I am not punished as I deserve as if I were then I would not be alive and nothing of me would remain not even a Ghost. I have done so many things this week wrong that I feel guilty about. I am so glad that God can forgive me even when sometimes it seems like I can't even forgive myself.

Paul said "who can set me free from this body of death?" Then He went on to thank God for saving him from his own faults and sins. In roman times a body of death referred to a method of punishment where the romans would chain a live person to a corpse full of maggots. It is a accurate but gross illustration of just how our sinful life is seen by God.

It makes me wonder why God would bother with a race of beings so disgusting to Him with their sinful ways that we appear as a rotting corpse. Would any of us care for such a thing if we were in our right mind?I think not.

still sick

Well here I am coughing my brains out still, but I am feeling stronger. Last week was bad I was so weak and feverish. And grouchy. I hate it when I get irritable with people just because I am sick or because I did not take my medication as I should have. I am learning patience with myself. My dropping things is getting worse and I get so angry with myself when it happens. Especially when it is the last of the juice or milk that I want to drink. But my Heavenly Father is letting it happen for a reason if for no other than to teach me more lessions in patience. It always seems that when I think that I have a paticular sin (some would call it charater defects, others would call it mistakes, err in judgement etc.) licked something happens that brings it roaring back into plain view. Perhaps a fall from pride? I do not know but struggling with sin is a never ending job that has to be done daily just like some people do the 12 steps of aa or alanon daily. All I can do is pray, read my devotions, read my bible, study it and gleen lessons from it and try to practise what I learn.

I really enjoy making things and I am thinking about starting a home based business based on it. It would be so nice to actually make some money instead of collecting disability checks. I am glad that I get it but it does not amount to very much. just enough to survive on and I would so love to be able to give back to society instead of taking from it.

Well that is it for today.
